Spring is here and we have just cut the first of the rhubarb. I have made a delicious jam with shredded root ginger. Fabulous with crumpets. Available at Wymondham Farmers’ Market this Saturday in the Market Place from 9am-1pm.

Peachey’s Preserves wins two Bronze Awards at the Marmalade Awards in Dalemain, Cumbria on Sunday for Seville Orange & Chilli Marmalade and the Seville Orange Marmalade with Lemon & Ginger Ale.

We have entered our Seville Orange & Chilli Marmalade and Seville Orange Marmalade with Lemon & Ginger Ale in the Marmalade Awards Festival at Dalemain Historic House and Gardens in Cumbria.
New Year opening
We’d like to wish all our customers a very happy New Year and are pleased to announce that our online shop has now reopened. You can, of course, also find our preserves at the markets and retail outlets that we supply.
Christmas closing
Our online shop is now closed for Christmas and will reopen on 4th January 2011. You can still find our preserves at the markets and retail outlets that we supply.
Framlingham Saturday Market
Peachey’s Preserves now has a stall at Framlingham Saturday Market on the 1st and last Saturdays in the month. As well as our usual fare we have a selection of hand baked goods available as well. All produce is locally sourced wherever possible.

August Markets and Events
New for this month is Headcracker Tomato, Ale & Chilli Chutney. Made with our own tomatoes and the strong and complex plummy flavoured Headcracker ale from Woodforde’s Brewery combined with the chillis to give a medium heat this chutney makes a fantastic dip for the barbeque. Tastings will be available at the following markets and events:

15th August – Pennoyer’s Fair, Pulham St Mary, Diss, Norfolk.
21st August – Burnham Market Arts & Craft Fair, Burnham Market, Norfolk.
